Choosing The Best Sweater Coat

Even some of the most plain outfits can be drastically enhanced by wearing the right sweater coat overtop.  At the same time, you can wear your sweater coat to a variety of places, and wear it in all weather.

On a late fall or early spring day, a jacket is sometimes just too heavy.  These are the ideal times to pull your sweater coat from the closet.  Frequently, they look just like other coats, with the big difference residing in the material. Usually made from a knit, just like a regular sweater, sweater coats, they are quite comfortable and keep you warm. It is especially ideal for those chilly fall afternoons and evenings. Sweater coats are also great bring-along gaments; they don't weigh too much when you have to carry them.  Despite being a larger garment, a sweater coat can fold down to fit easily into a fairly small bag, or under your arm.

A sweater coat can easily make or break your outfit in terms of style, color, texture, proportions, and fit. Remember, this is your syle on the line! Make sure to carefully weigh out how the color and style of this sweater coat may work with your wardrobe.  When it comes to a sweater coat's length, look at it from the front, not just from behind.
